Painting process.
My goal with this piece was to show a sense of optional exploration throughout the painting. I wasn't trying to go super realistic, but slightly stylized letting the paint strokes show. I wanted to give a real world fantasy feeling in the visuals of the rocks and trees, almost as if a adventurer could walk past the fisherman on the road and keep treading through to the mountain range.
